Life is a voyage – a passage falling in between our arrival into and departure from the mortal terrain. While, this theme is eclectic with diverse areas to address, I am limiting this wedge to the times and timelines that we cart during our lifespans.
Each one of us has a distinct course of life bearing varied priorities, schemas, degrees of highs and lows for outcomes that are best suited to us. We carve these paths by our own actions, reactions, feelings and beliefs. Yet, all along we link, relate and equate every event and happening to people at large.
Our life certainly has a deep celestial purpose – we have distinct cycles to complete and live our own wheels of fortune – and while, this takes off to another zone on life journeys, I would limit the thought in this article to timelines alone.
Schedules are good to plot your goals – however, it is equally important to understand that periods will not always be the same. It is a good idea to chart your future in terms of time spans, but attainment of the same is critically governed by internal as well as external barriers along with the circumstantial backgrounds that each of us carry.
Your calendars are yours alone and may not synchronize with individuals around you. So you may get your most desired job at 45 and someone may get it at 22….somebody may find their first love at 50 and someone else may discover the same at 50 after experiencing decades of togetherness….some may find the rhythm within very young and some may find it in giving when they are old….the first house, the first car, your first child and the first guitar….it could be anything spread across from your travel diaries to chosen friendships to jobs….and the forgotten hobbies to relationships to maybe nothing at all….They are bound to touch you but, not at a time that may be mutual to the other.
Yes, there would be times when we shall grace similar and parallel journeys – together. But, those would be phases for us to bond and grow rather than compare and contend. And then there would be break journeys and expeditions alone – for us to sculpt our positions and calling.
We are here to chart, walk, appreciate and enliven our very own identifiable time zone. Write, sketch, draw, paint, erase and re-write as per your time and your timeline.
No matter your age or any stage of your age – your life is your story….your journey!
Recalls me of an age old saying ” Tu Aahe tuzhya jiwancha shilpakar”..nice article

Life has a purpose. But purpose? ‘Life’ ultimately, ‘A Journey’. All are taking this journey, but want to know ‘Life’. You have selected a very challenging topic but 🙏 for presenting nicely.
