Unfinished Business

As we walk our individual paths of life, we encounter numerous people all through this journey. The good, the bad and the ugly….deep and superficial….motivating and counterproductive – its takes all kinds to make the world. Yet, there must be a purpose to this design, I sense!

Some stay along right till the end and some pitch in only to stitch up certain happenings. Then there exist bonds that come with familial relations and those that we choose for ourselves. While, each of us has a different story – there is a link that we carry for others and that they carry for us!

There is love and liking….trust and weakness….hate and disdain….inspiration and deterrence….the tracks that we cross with each other are full of zings that affect our being! We run into sugary and dry moments – for shorter periods and longer durations, each of these spaced out to fit like a jigsaw. We walk miles together with mixed vigor, wondering around the happy and gloomy sparks – and at times, our meetings last for a flash but, preserve memories that stay on forever!

We often lug the obligatory along with the energies that they dispel – pondering about the necessity of such….and whilst trying to decipher answers, customarily, we are guarded when it comes to unleashing the drives that emanate out of our discretionary selections!

If we look back at our life, we realize the ups and downs….the pleasures and ordeals are all woven around people that form part of our lives – and at every corner, the scene deviates enough to change routes either to scatter us or hold us – but, only until the next turn of time!

We race and rant….laugh and cry….celebrate, castigate, implicate and enrich – the good and the bad becomes perceptional and we get entangled in a cycle of sorting our stints with people – however, rather than closing or continuing on optimistic notes, we end up creating cavities that leave us entwined in this maze.

It is perhaps this unfinished business that is our perpetual link across lifetimes!
